ABOUT RENEE'S GARDEN
Renee Manes was a board member of the Friends of Buckner Park and a longtime resident of the Peak's Addition neighborhood. As an early member of that Homeowners' Association, she was instrumental in the creation of Peaks's Suburban Addition Historic District and served on the Landmark Commission's task force for that neighborhood for several years. Renee also attained the honor of being a Master Gardener. Her enthusiasm, positive outlook, and wit is certainly missed.
We are raising funds for Renee's Garden. Friends of Buckner Park is selling engraved bricks for the entry walk to this special garden. The bricks are $100 with a personalized name or message (up to 3 lines with maximum of 20 letters or spaces per line). Friends of Buckner Park is a 501(c)3. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by federal law.
